Job Description

Established company is seeking a temporary compensation analyst in the greater Pasadena, CA area. The Compensation Analyst supports the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs to ensure pay is competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals. This mid-level role partners with HR and business leaders to provide data-driven compensation recommendations. Pay ranges from $19-45/hr.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze salary, bonus, and incentive data; support annual merit and bonus cycles
  • Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and maintain salary ranges
  • Provide guidance on hiring, promotions, and retention offers
  • Support pay equity analyses and compliance with compensation regulations
  • Maintain compensation data, reports, and dashboards in HRIS and planning tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
  • ~4 years of experience in compensation or total rewards
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Experience with salary surveys and HRIS systems
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills
